Now that you're here seeing this note, I understand there's a big stigma around AI, and I wholeheartedly agree with a lot of it. I don't like AI being used to create things or build things carelessly; I think that's a plague. As the developer of Super-Shiritori, I worked tirelessly to avoid AI and do everything myself, and I did, but a lot of problems came up along the way.
I'm not trying to change your views on AI, but it's clearly where the world is heading, and I won't lie: I did use AI to help with parts of this website, things like setting up site security, working out the login tokens, and iterating through something like six different color palettes to find one I liked. It was a tool that aided me; I never told AI to build the game. The game was planned, in full, years in advance.
The artwork is human-made, by my friend GreenyMage. Check the Discord server to see his work. This isn't AI slop. Most of my inspiration for how the game looks and plays comes from my friend's game wordbomb.io, the OG jklm.fun, and a few other sites — see the full credits & inspiration page.
If you hate AI and want nothing to do with it, that's okay, go play something else. I'm not going to beg for your approval. Just know my community trusted me to make this without turning to AI for new ideas. Everything here was my design and my choice; I approved and chose all of it. Some of it may be good, some may be bad, and it'll always be subjective and open to change. It's a game I made for fun, and I don't want the stigma around AI to take away from something I've spent years working to build.
